Homemade at Lamezia
The dishes we serve you at Lamezia are homemade using well-loved recipes passed down the generations of the family. Along the way, we have perfected them, to make sure they stand the test of time and stay true to our Calabrian roots.
We start early every day baking our own bread - our customers love it topped with N'duja to make a unique bruschetta created by my Dad, Franco.
Next up it's fresh pasta, from tagliatelle to ravioli to serve with delicious seasonally-changing fillings.
We're especially proud of our spicy carbonara "Carbonara Piccante" - the classic carbonara dish with N'duja - soft, spreadable salame, which melts with the other ingredients and gives a lovely spicy kick - if you prefer more spice, ask for Mamma's homemade chilli oil....it's very spicy! We always have a constant fresh supply made here in our kitchen.
When it comes to dessert, Mamma's tiramisu is legendary. She also makes homemade Limoncello cream & Chocolate liquor -> Mamma's two most delicious creations - the lemons come from Italy & they have become a post-dinner fave!
